What is ParkWatch?
ParkWatch is a community advocacy app for documenting parking hazards and accessibility violations. Users can photograph violations, categorize them, and share with their community to raise awareness about unsafe parking practices.
Is ParkWatch about shaming drivers?
No. ParkWatch focuses on community awareness and safer streets. We do not display license plate information or personal details. The goal is to highlight patterns and advocate for better parking behavior, not to target individuals.
What types of violations can I report?
ParkWatch supports 8 violation categories: Sidewalk Blocker, Fire Lane, Double-Spacer, ADA, Crosswalk, Bike Lane, No Parking, and Other.
How does location work?
When you create a post, ParkWatch uses your device's location to tag the city and coordinates. This lets other users discover reports near them. You can also search by location in the Discover tab.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Every post has a Report button. Tap it and select a reason (Inappropriate Content, Harassment, or Spam). Our moderation team reviews all flagged content within 24 hours.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account from the Settings screen in the app. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data.
Is my data private?
We collect only what's needed to operate the app: your email, photos you choose to post, and location data when you submit a report. We do not sell or share your personal information. See our
